Mamelodi Sundowns snatch Matuludi from Polokwane amid Orlando Pirates chase
Mamelodi Sundowns have reportedly beaten rivals Orlando Pirates to the signature of Polokwane City and Bafana Bafana defender Thabang Matuludi for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old has caught the eye of the top two sides in the Betway Premiership after making only six appearances in the top-flight division since joining from Cape Town Spurs ahead of the current 2026/27 campaign.
According to reports, the reigning African champions Masandawana are ahead in the race to land the defensive midfielder who has played every minute for City this season.
However, an agreement is yet to be reached for the deal to Sundowns, who are thought to prefer to send the player back to City for the current campaign after concluding the deal.
AmaBhakaniya could be a tempting option for Sanger, with the Soweto giants providing game-time and relying on their younger players in recent seasons and under Moroccan coach Abdeslam Ouaddou.
It is unclear if the Durban based outfit will be willing to lose their new prospect shortly after joining the club and with the transfer window set to close soon.
Sanger has already collected two Man of the Match awards for City in consecutive matches against Kruger United and Richards Bay.
