Ronnie Kanalelo has hit out at former club African Stars after being unveiled as the new head coach of Marumo Gallants.
African Stars announce Gerald Gunther as Ronnie Kananelo replacement
Gunther joins the team as a replacement for Ronnie Kananelo who left his post to join South African Betway Premiership side Marumo Gallants.
Kanalelo guided African Stars to the CAF Champions League Second qualifying round where they are set to face Betway Premiership Champions Orlando Pirates over two legs, starting on 17 October.
He had only signed for Stars this season after joining from Ongos FC.
The team confirmed the news with a post on social media, saying: "African Stars Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Gerald Gunther as the club's new Head Coach.
“Gunther takes charge as the Stars prepare for the Premier League season and the highly anticipated CAF Champions League clash against Orlando Pirates.”
