Richards Bay have confirmed the appointment of Dimitar Pantev as club's new head coach on a one-year deal following the departure of Ronnie Gabriel.

The club confirmed the changes on Wednesday after Mohafe oversaw a winless opening to the campaign, collecting just two points from five matches.
Three defeats and two draws have left Gallants 15th on the log, with their latest result a 2-2 draw against Polokwane City. Mohafe only took charge during the off-season after leaving Polokwane City.
Second assistant coach Trevor Mathiane has now stepped into the role on an interim basis while the club searches for a permanent replacement.
"The Club will not be commenting further on the circumstances surrounding the decision or engaging on the merits of the matter," Gallants said in a statement.
The club is also understood to have held informal discussions with former Simba SC coach Dimitar Pantev, although there has been no public confirmation of formal talks.
The technical changes come during an equally busy period in the transfer market. Gallants have allowed midfielder Bheki Mabuza to join Orlando Pirates permanently, while Daniel Msendami and Abdoulaye Mariko have moved in the opposite direction on loan.
Gallants now face the immediate challenge of turning their season around, with AmaZulu awaiting them at the Princess Magogo Stadium on Saturday.
Mathiane will take charge as Gallants attempt to secure their first league victory and move away from the relegation zone.
